Both curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) and resveratrol (from Japanese knotweed root) have scientifically verified antioxidant, liver protective and anti-ageing actions, supporting cells to resist free radical damage. When turmeric is taken alone, very little curcumin is absorbed. Its synergy with resveratrol greatly improves curcumin’s absorption into cells.
