Most probiotic strains are killed by stomach acid before they reach the gut. MegaSporeBiotic uses five Bacillus spores — a dormant, shelf-stable form that survives the stomach, germinates in the intestine and helps recondition the gut environment and strengthen the intestinal barrier.

Mechanism

Bacillus spores stay dormant through the acidic stomach and germinate in the small
intestine, where they transiently colonise, compete with pathogens and produce
compounds that support tight-junction integrity of the gut lining — the barrier whose
leakiness is linked to systemic inflammation.
