Biohacker.co.nz is a curated range for New Zealand professionals who value evidence over hype: practitioner-grade and specialist consumer products across cognition, healthy ageing, stress and recovery, each assessed on the available human evidence, formulation, stated dose and label transparency.
Why we exist
The supplement industry has a credibility problem. Walk into most stores or scroll any marketplace and you will find thousands of products making bold claims backed by nothing more than proprietary blends and influencer endorsements. Underdosed formulas, filler ingredients and opaque supply chains remain common.
We started Biohacker because we wanted a better option: a store where products earn their place through evidence, sourcing and transparent labelling. A place built for people who want to know what is in the capsule, why that form was chosen and where the evidence is still uncertain.
How we curate
We do not carry thousands of SKUs, because you should not have to compare thousands of SKUs. The range stays deliberately small, drawn from trusted practitioner-grade and premium consumer brands, so anything you find here has already been assessed against four criteria:
- Evidence quality. Human evidence carries more weight than laboratory or animal research, and we flag where the evidence remains preliminary.
- Useful formulation. We assess the ingredient form and stated dose against the research rather than accepting label claims at face value.
- Quality signals. We review available manufacturer testing information and technical documentation, which varies by brand and product.
- Meaningful differentiation. Each product must offer something the rest of the range does not. No redundant SKUs.
When the evidence changes, so does our range. We have removed products that did not meet our standards and we will do it again.
Our commitment
We describe what compounds have been studied for rather than promising what they will do for you, and we distinguish established findings from preliminary evidence. The point is practical: when you read a product page here, you should come away knowing what the research actually says, and where it stops.
