These terms and conditions govern your use of the biohacker.co.nz website and your purchase of products from Pretty Good Value Limited, trading as Biohacker ("Biohacker", "we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Biohacker operates the website biohacker.co.nz, an online retail store selling dietary supplements in New Zealand. Pretty Good Value Limited is a New Zealand company (company number 5999650) with its registered office at Level 4, 253 Queen Street.
2. Products
2.1 Dietary supplements, not medicines
All products sold on biohacker.co.nz are dietary supplements regulated under the New Zealand Dietary Supplements Regulations 1985. They are not medicines and are not registered with Medsafe.
The information and products on this site are for general wellbeing and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet, a healthy lifestyle or professional medical advice.
2.2 Product descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, ingredient information and other content on this site are accurate. However, product formulations, packaging and availability may change without notice. Where we cite research, we describe what compounds do in the published literature, not what they will do for any individual.
2.3 Suitability
It is your responsibility to read product labels and assess whether a product is suitable for you. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a health condition, consult your healthcare professional before purchasing or using any supplement.
3. Pricing and payment
3.1 Currency and GST
All prices on biohacker.co.nz are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax at 15%).
3.2 Price accuracy
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will notify you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
3.3 Payment methods
Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. We accept major credit and debit cards as displayed at checkout.
4. Orders and fulfillment
4.1 Order acceptance
An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if a product is out of stock, if there is a pricing error or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
4.2 Shipping
Orders are dispatched by our fulfillment partner within one business day of payment. Delivery times and shipping rates are as described on our Shipping and Returns page.
4.3 Risk of loss
Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided at checkout.
5. Consumer Guarantees Act
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and match their description. If a product fails to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy as described in our Shipping and Returns page.
6. Returns
Our returns policy is set out on our Shipping and Returns page. Your CGA rights are not affected by any returns policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (and without limiting your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act):
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage arising from your use of our products or website.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the price you paid for the product in question.
8. Intellectual property
All content on biohacker.co.nz (including text, images, logos, page designs and code) is owned by or licensed to Pretty Good Value Limited and is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our written permission.
9. Website use
9.1 Accuracy
We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.
9.2 Availability
We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components.
9.3 Third-party links
Our site may contain links to third-party websites, including research publications and brand websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
